Signal Iduna is one of Germany’s leading insurance and financial services providers. Developed in collaboration with KNSK, the type system combines two modified retail fonts with newly designed condensed styles and a dedicated monospace.
The sans serif family underwent extensive refinement, introducing revised terminal angles, a geometric “a,” default tabular figures, and a newly drawn “g,” subtly transforming the typeface’s overall tone and character.
Complementing the sans serif, the serif adds warmth and distinction to the typographic system. Two condensed weights and a dedicated monospace style further extend the family, resulting in a total of 21 styles for a wide range of applications.
